Captain Manny V Safely Shows You The Epic Side Of Baja

I am so happy I went on the Baja Weekender. I expected it to be a lot of surfing and good times, and that's exactly what it was. All five of us, three of whom knew each other before we went, were talking in the car on our way to one of the breaks about how great the trip was, how it was so awesome to not have to figure out any of the logistics and get to completely concentrate on surfing hard, relaxing whenever we weren't in the water, and not worrying about anything. Manny is a great traveler and super easy to talk to and get along with. The entire time he pointed out things that were interesting along the road, we stopped at some delicious restaurants and also roadside stands (that I had always been too timid in my previous travels in the area to stop at). From pitaya sorbet to delicious burritos at the roadside stands, we were always getting to see parts of Baja from an experienced point of view. The photos and drone shots were great, and he gave us helpful insight on what to modify, from stance to paddling to where to look on the wave, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book again, in fact, I'm already planning my next trip with epic surf tours.

Of course loads of Americans cross the border into Mexico all year long to enjoy all of the amazing things our neighboring country has to offer: the gracious Mexican people, the stunning natural beauty, the surf breaks, the food!! It's truly a wonderland. But I'm here to tell you that experiencing the adventure with Manny as your guide takes it to the next level! A van full of surf ladies, escorted by our amiable host, set off on Friday afternoon for our Epic journey. We were late getting into Puerto Nuevo for our lobster dinner, but our night was saved by a quick phone call to the owner of Manny's favorite lobster spot. The restaurant had closed, but opened up for us. An incredible lobster feast was served, we ate until we almost burst, and were beyond thankful to the hosts and Manny both. This was our first glimpse into the magic of having him with us. His relationships with the locals, built on respect and gratitude, is the special sauce. We experienced it at every turn. Good gosh...could we have had a better time? Everything was planned and executed to a "T". Manny took care of everything... from getting us safely down to Mexico with the least effort on our part, keeping us well fed, taking us to the best surf spots, filming, droning and photographing our every wave, providing sightseeing and shopping excursions, and just being an overall excellent tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about the area. I hadn't been to Mexico in years and am now ready to go back tomorrow! Manny is the consummate professional. I wish I had more words to describe and convey what a great time I, as well as the rest of the crew, had. Will definitely book another trip as soon as I can! Thanks again Manny!! You're the best!!

I seriously could not have asked for a better trip. This truly felt like an authentic Mexican surf experience. You're not at some fancy big surf school. You're not at some crowded public beach. You're in a private beach house overlooking your own secret surf spot. Manny was not only super chill and super welcoming, but he's been making this trip for years, and he knows the area and many of the locals from the surrounding communities. So you really feel like you're getting to experience a real slice of Mexico. I could write on and on about the trip, but I'll just end it by saying it was an experience I'll remember forever, and I definitely plan on doing it again. #DoEpicShit

This is probably my 6th Baja Weekender with Manny V. My stoke for Baja just keeps growing after each trip. Manny always makes sure you are well fed and have surfed your brains out. Not only is the entire experience epic but afterwards you get access to all your photos and videos he captured of you surfing. You can laugh at all your wipeouts, remember those good waves and good times you had. This trip is for any level of surfer who is looking to have that amazing Baja experience. Thanks Manny :)

Manny was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. Our group had an amazing time surfing, eating, and having fun... Manny took care of the rest. We stayed steps away from the surf break. The surf was amazing! And no crowds was a huge plus. The photos, videos, and drone footage turned out great as well. Already thinking of planning my next trip. Such a stoked time!!

Epic Surf Tours is by far one of the best surf tour companies I have gone to. I loved everything about this trip including the food, accommodations, and most importantly Manny who was amazing. Manny made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything we needed for this adventure. Manny has such a passion for his company and his love of the ocean that I highly recommend this trip. Did the Baja weekender with Epic Surf Tours which was full of tasty food and tasty waves. Manny is an expert surf guide. He knows Baja well and was able to find us fun, uncrowded breaks despite finicky weather, different abilities of the group, and it being a holiday weekend. Having Manny as your guide means you’re spending more time actually surfing and less time figuring out which spot to choose, where to paddle out, and where to sit. At the end of the day, reviewing Mannys drone footage on day 1 also helped me catch 10x more waves by day 3. When we weren’t surfing, we were exploring the area and eating amazing food. Manny is a gem and every local we ran into seemed to adore him - probably because he’s so respectful and generous. Epic surf tours is an ethical and authentic surf vacation, where you can show up with your boards and let an expert plan the rest.
