Captain Manny V Safely Shows You The Epic Side Of Baja

MANNY IS THE MAN!!!! I've gone on a couple Baja weekenders with him, and he has never disappointed! Great food, great waves, great company! If I had one criticism, it would be that the tacos were too good. I mean, you figure "OMG surfing all day, I'm going to come home soooo skinny!" Then 900 tortillas later, all that fit are sweatpants. Thanks manny. Thanks A LOT.

I've been fortunate enough to go on numerous wave riding missions with Manny Vargas. My 1st trip dating back to Cabo freak fest '05. I recently got back from my 3rd Baja weekender. Manny knows every wave and caters to the board you choose to ride. My bodyboarding group scored a secret wedge that I was hoping to ride for a while. Not only are there waves, the trip include lots of tasty food such as Breakfast Burritos, Tacos and Lobster. Thanks for showing me a great time MV. I'll see you on the next trip!

Baja Weekender

My group did the Baja Weekender and we all had a blast! Waves were great and uncrowded. Manny is a great surfer/photographer and had really helpful tips which I really appreciated. The food on the trip was awesome! And we got to see a lot of cool local spots. Manny knows the people and the area really well, so it all was really safe and easy. Stoked. We will definitely be doing another trip with Epic Surf Tours.

Manny was a terrific guide for our group: knowledgeable, capable, and kind. We were sitting at a restaurant by the sea and the breeze was a bit chilly. Manny quietly left the restaurant to go purchase several colorful Mexican blankets at a nearby market, which he gave to the ladies in our group to keep warm. Who does that? Manny. Also, he's just a cool guy to hang out with--he fit right in.

Manny knows what he is doing! Our trip was seamless from start to finish and was so much fun. Manny has a way of keeping things moving while also not making anyone feel pressured on time and letting the group go with the flow. He knows Mexico - and the places he leads tours - like the back of his hand. We felt safe the whole time and had such a blast. I highly recommend doing a tour with Manny. It'll be one of the best trips of your life!

Highly recommend this trip to everyone. I just did my third Baja Weekender and it just keeps getting better. From delicious pre-surf burritos to empty waves... this trip is great for any level of surfer who wants an authentic Baja experience! Manny V has EVERYTHING dialed in! He knows exactly when and where to take you so that you get the he best [empty] waves, cultural experiences and food! His energy is contagious and you will not be disappointed. This was my second trip to Baja with Manny and I had an amazing time! Epic Surf Tours is now, officially, above and beyond. I mean...not that the first trip wasn’t a blast (because it was), but with the new digs, new car, and new adventures, it’s now freakin EPIC! I love that it’s truly a surf trip and Manny makes sure that surf is the top priority. I was fed beyond well, surfed my brains out, and I never felt unsafe. Plus, you get like a Bazillion photos of yourself at the end. I can’t wait to go again!

Epic Surf Tours is by far one of the best surf tour companies I have gone to. I loved everything about this trip including the food, accommodations, and most importantly Manny who was amazing. Manny made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything we needed for this adventure. Manny has such a passion for his company and his love of the ocean that I highly recommend this trip. This was my first surf trip to Baja and Manny set the bars high for future trips! Manny's expertise of the surf breaks, best food spots and more made it a memorable experience. The accommodations that we were provided were amazing and would definitely stay there again! Short but sweet! This trip is amazing. Manny really knows the ins and outs of the area, the break and the food! It was so rad getting to break down the surf video and review the break. This weekend gave me plenty to work on now that I'm home.
