Captain Manny V Safely Shows You The Epic Side Of Baja

WOW, just wow. I went into the weekend with no expectations as I didn’t know what to expect but by Monday I was blown away (and exhausted ?) All weekend we were led by Manny to incredible surf, cuisine, hospitality and along the way he was anticipating every need. Manny was on top of anything and everything. We were brought to some incredible breathtaking surf spots with epic rights and soft beautiful waves. The food on this trip was outstanding and everywhere we went we felt and were treated so very welcomed and always left full. The accommodations are within walking distance of surf and a private beach. The house was big enough for everyone to enjoy and have their own private space. I will be back, sooner than later! Thank you for such a great weekend!

Glassy waves, near-empty lineups and lobster -- what else could you want from a Baja surf weekend? Manny V is a fun, chill guide who is dialed in to all the best breaks and restaurants, speaks fluent Spanish, knows the locals and is all about making sure you have a great time. Our group of five women felt totally safe in and out of the water. Can't wait for the next one!

I seriously could not have asked for a better trip. This truly felt like an authentic Mexican surf experience. You're not at some fancy big surf school. You're not at some crowded public beach. You're in a private beach house overlooking your own secret surf spot. Manny was not only super chill and super welcoming, but he's been making this trip for years, and he knows the area and many of the locals from the surrounding communities. So you really feel like you're getting to experience a real slice of Mexico. I could write on and on about the trip, but I'll just end it by saying it was an experience I'll remember forever, and I definitely plan on doing it again. #DoEpicShit

What a way to spend a weekend! This was my second BajaWeekender surf trip with Manny - and somehow it topped the first time. This weekend was truly a get away for me - leaving it all behind and signing up for the trip solo - Manny provided exactly what I needed! No need to worry about anything - he provides a great agenda that caters to the entire groups' desires all while keeping a smile on everyone's face. He knows where to find the best tacos, the best lobster, the best breakfast burritos...but the best part is the secret surf spot he took us to - just a few friendly locals and SoCal friends alike enjoy the empty lineup! Thank you Manny - I've made some great friends on each of my trips and memories that will last forever! Gracias amigo!

Manny knows what he is doing! Our trip was seamless from start to finish and was so much fun. Manny has a way of keeping things moving while also not making anyone feel pressured on time and letting the group go with the flow. He knows Mexico - and the places he leads tours - like the back of his hand. We felt safe the whole time and had such a blast. I highly recommend doing a tour with Manny. It'll be one of the best trips of your life!

HIT Like a Girl Podcast Retreat

Just completed the BAJA WEEKENDER. Manny is the best surfer guide, best food guide and best winery guide. He knows everyone around. All the places we went to had the nicest people and the greatest service. We were a group of beginner surfers and Manny took us to the most chill and uncrowded surf spots. Plus, the photos are legendary!

Epic Surf Tours is by far one of the best surf tour companies I have gone to. I loved everything about this trip including the food, accommodations, and most importantly Manny who was amazing. Manny made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything we needed for this adventure. Manny has such a passion for his company and his love of the ocean that I highly recommend this trip. I am so happy I went on the Baja Weekender. I expected it to be a lot of surfing and good times, and that's exactly what it was. All five of us, three of whom knew each other before we went, were talking in the car on our way to one of the breaks about how great the trip was, how it was so awesome to not have to figure out any of the logistics and get to completely concentrate on surfing hard, relaxing whenever we weren't in the water, and not worrying about anything. Manny is a great traveler and super easy to talk to and get along with. The entire time he pointed out things that were interesting along the road, we stopped at some delicious restaurants and also roadside stands (that I had always been too timid in my previous travels in the area to stop at). From pitaya sorbet to delicious burritos at the roadside stands, we were always getting to see parts of Baja from an experienced point of view. The photos and drone shots were great, and he gave us helpful insight on what to modify, from stance to paddling to where to look on the wave, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book again, in fact, I'm already planning my next trip with epic surf tours.

Did the Baja weekender with Epic Surf Tours which was full of tasty food and tasty waves. Manny is an expert surf guide. He knows Baja well and was able to find us fun, uncrowded breaks despite finicky weather, different abilities of the group, and it being a holiday weekend. Having Manny as your guide means you’re spending more time actually surfing and less time figuring out which spot to choose, where to paddle out, and where to sit. At the end of the day, reviewing Mannys drone footage on day 1 also helped me catch 10x more waves by day 3. When we weren’t surfing, we were exploring the area and eating amazing food. Manny is a gem and every local we ran into seemed to adore him - probably because he’s so respectful and generous. Epic surf tours is an ethical and authentic surf vacation, where you can show up with your boards and let an expert plan the rest.

I have been on this trip probably 4 times now and I can say that IT NEVER GETS OLD! Manny is truly the very best at what he does. When you go to Baja with Manny you'll find empty surf, bomb ass food, and meet great friends along the way. More importantly it's SAFE! Manny's decades of experience traveling in Baja shows. You can feel free to enjoy your time because Manny has got you covered. Oh, last BIG bonus - Manny is an excellent photographer so you'll walk away with your memories documented and a full album of photos!! Thanks Manny!! So many waves, so many memories.
