Can not say enough great things about Manny Vargas's Epic Surf Camp just south of Rosarito in Northern Baja with 4 other women (only 5 women total!)
The house we stayed in was huge, right on the bluff above a perfect right-hand break (way less crowded than Los Gaviotas - we had it to ourselves most sessions), with a gentle and forgiving wave perfect for beginners and intermediate longboarders. 2 2 hr seshes per day and a different delicious local eatery for each lunch and dinner. When we weren't surfing or eating, we spent hours analyzing the video, still, drone and gopro footage that both Manny and his professional photographer shot the whole time we surfed. Manny is an amazing coach and spent the time he was not running his drone in the water with us. He has a wealth of information, both about surfing and local Baja life and culture and he loves sharing his knowledge. As I wrote above, I do not have enough superlatives for Manny and his camp - he's amazing and inspiring!
